NIC Asia Mini SIP

NIC Asia Mini SIP (ELIS) 2026 — Register, Login, Pay

If you have been searching for NIC Asia Mini SIP, NIC Asia ELIS, or simply SIP NIC Asia, you usually want to know about NIC ASIA SIP. Here are my answers to three practical questions: where to register, which login is the real one, and how to complete the SIP payment to NIC Asia without the money disappearing into a pending request?

This guide is based on NIC ASIA SIP payment and the procedures related to SIP. It explains what Mini SIP (ELIS) is, how NIC Asia Capital differs from NIC Asia Bank, and the actual process: register on the capital portal, log in there, then pay until you see a success screen.

Under this SIP Scheme, they offer two different SIP Types (Mini SIP and SIP), so for Mini SIP, you can start investing in SIP with just Rs 500 per installment, which sets a new benchmark in SIP Schemes as of now; that’s called NIC ASIA Mini SIP. Here you learn how to register NIC Asia Mini SIP, create a SIP user, and make a SIP Payment in an easy process.

A Short Introduction to NIC ASIA ELIS

NIC Asia Mini SIP is an open-ended mutual fund SIP managed by NIC ASIA Capital with fund sponsorship by NIC ASIA Bank. This Mini SIP is offered under NIC Asia’s Equity Linked Investment Scheme (ELIS) branding. In plain language: you commit a small fixed amount on a schedule, and NIC Asia Capital allots units at the applicable NAV.

NIC Asia Equity Linked Investment Scheme is the first and only open-ended mutual fund in Nepal to offer SIP installments from Rs 500 per month, breaking the standard of Rs 1000 per month for other SIP Issue Managers.

NIC Asia ELIS has an initial issue size of Rs 1 billion. This scheme aims to generate long-term capital appreciation by preserving the unit holders’ capital and providing diversified portfolio returns. As it’s an equity scheme, it’s more volatile than its Dynamic Debt Fund Scheme. NIC Asia Capital manages this mutual fund scheme, and the Fund Manager is NIC ASIA Bank, its parent company.

Mini SIP vs a standard NIC Asia SIP

NIC Asia Capital may list more than one open-ended SIP ticket. Exact product names should be taken from their live page — verify before you publish numbers in your own notes.

Market logicStill a market-linked schemeSame idea, different contribution size

A lower minimum is a habit advantage, not a quality score. It does not make returns safer, and it does not make the scheme “better” than Nabil, NIBL, or Laxmi products. What it does change is the weight of fixed costs: DP-related charges take a larger bite out of Rs 500 than out of Rs 1,000 or Rs 2,000.

If you plan to grow the installment with salary, run the path in the step-up SIP calculator before you lock a number you will resent every month.

Key Features of ELIS

Systematic Investment Plan (SIP): It’s a systematic investment plan that allows investors to leverage rupee-cost averaging to buy more units when prices are low and fewer when the prices are high (NAV is high).

SIP Booster: This option allows SIP Investors to purchase additional units of the Mutual Fund beyond their regular payment/contribution in SIP.

Systematic Withdrawal Plan (SWP): It allows you to withdraw a fixed amount of money at regular intervals (monthly, quarterly, or annually).

Systematic Transfer Plan (STP): This SIP acts as a bridge between safety and growth by allowing the user to transfer a fixed amount of money from one mutual fund scheme to another at regular intervals of the same issue manager, like transferring the fund from NIC ASIA ELIS to NIC ASIA DDF (Dynamic Debt Fund SIP).

Salary VANTAGE: Offers a customized solution to corporate employers to enroll their employees in SIP.

Mini SIP: Designed to make SIP Registration accessible to everyone by starting SIP Installment payment of Rs 500 only.

Who Mini SIP may suit — and who should wait

Mini SIP tends to fit if you:

  • Want to begin a SIP NIC Asia habit without waiting for a “perfect” surplus
  • Prefer a shorter payment path inside the NIC Asia app
  • Accept that an equity-linked scheme can fall or rise based on when the market falls or rises
  • One who’s able to contribute at least Rs 500 monthly

Wait or redesign if you:

  • Need the cash inside roughly three years and cannot tolerate NAV noise
  • Chose the scheme only because a headline said “highest return”
  • Already hold another equity SIP with nearly the same top holdings

What to prepare before SIP registration NIC Asia

Have these ready before you open the sign-up form:

  • 16-digit BOID from your Demat account
  • Citizenship name and date of birth exactly as printed
  • An email inbox you actually check (OTP and recovery)
  • Mobile number
  • Bank account details for the payment leg

The sequence in Nepal does not bend:

  1. Demat account
  2. MeroShare and C-ASBA
  3. NIC Asia Capital account and SIP registration
  4. First installment paid to completion
  5. Units credited after NAV allotment

If Demat or C-ASBA is incomplete, the capital portal will not save you. Walkthrough of the stack: How to open a SIP account in Nepal.

NIC Asia Mini SIP (ELIS): Registration, Login and Payment

Registering SIPs online via the Issue Manager portal is now easier and faster. Here’s the easy, complete process to start an SIP Investment in the NIC ASIA Equity Linked Investment Scheme for you.

  • Visit the ELIS Portal of NIC Asia Capital here.
  • Now go to the SIP Registration option showing on the left side of your screen.
  • From Scheme Details, choose NIC ASIA EQUITY LINKED INVESTMENT SCHEME,
  • Fill in all the details under Application Details. Here, you have to enter your Citizenship Number, NID Number, and PAN No. (if), Mobile Number, Email, Source of Fund, and Bank Account Details.
  • Now upload your Citizenship Photo (Both Front and Back) and DEMAT Confirmation Letter. You can get the DEMT Confirmation Letter directly from MeroSharelso, or contact your DP or the parent company, such as a bank.
  • Now upload both files, your Citizenship File and DEMAT Confirmation File.
  • Under SIP Details, choose your SIP Type. I am choosing Mini SIP. If you choose Mini SIP, then your default frequency payment will be set as Rs 500 only (not changeable),
  • Now set the investment model to limited or unlimited (Recommended to set Limited) and SIP Interval to Monthly, quarterly, semiannually, or Annually as per your requirement (Recommended to set Monthly),
  • Set the term types to Years, and set the term as per your plan. Here’s an example: I’m planning it for 7 years.
  • Now check/tick the feature Enroll in Dividend Re-Investment Plan (DReP), to reinvest every dividend offered by this SIP Scheme.
  • Check/click/tap the Standing Instructions Declaration to automate the monthly debit of the SIP Amount, so you don’t have to pay it manually each month; if not, you can skip or ignore this option.
  • Check/click both Declaration terms to continue further,
  • After accepting the declaration, tap on Continue,
  • Now confirm the declaration shown in the pop-up, tap on Proceed to Register,
  • Under the payment process, tap on Payment under Do you want to proceed with the payment?
  • Choose the available payment method, and process the payment.
  • After payment is successful, tap on Continue to Home Page.
  • That’s all for the first-time SIP Registration process for NIC Asia Equity Linked Investment Scheme (ELIS).

Additionally, instead of Mini SIP, you can select SIP Type as SIP. After setting SIP, you will see an editable option for your SIP Installment Amount. So, you can set a SIP Installment amount from Rs 1000.

If registration is rejected, check KYC mismatch first — name spelling, DOB, or Demat status — before assuming the scheme is unavailable.

SIP User Creation Process in NIC ASIA Capital (New Portal)

Creating a user with your Issue Manager gives you easy access to make any changes or full control over your SIP Plan. From here, you can easily amend your SIP Plan, cancel your SIP, and purchase a lump sum unit. So, here’s the simple process for you to follow.

  • Go to Sign Up page of ELIS, Click here,
  • Enter your 16 Digit BOID and Citizenship Number, tap on next,
  • Now enter your Full Name, Mobile Number, Email and Set a Password, then tap on Complete Registration,

Note: If you suddenly try to Sign Up your user just after registering the SIP then it may show the message of ‘Your details should be approved before registration!‘ . So, please wait until confirmation mail for SIP Registration from NIC ASIA Capital.

SIP login NIC Asia — use the right door

SIP login NIC means the NIC Asia Capital investor login.

It is not:

  • NIC Asia mobile banking alone
  • MeroShare
  • Your broker / TMS login

After a correct login you should eventually see SIP status, payment or purchase history, and unit balance. A blank holding screen immediately after the first debit is common. Allotment follows NAV application; it is not instant the second money leaves the bank.

Portal links and the usual OTP failures are collected here: SIP login in Nepal.

Paying from the NIC Asia mobile app

If you hold a NIC Asia account, app payment is why many investors pick this manager in the first place. Menu labels change, so follow the live app, but the shape stays stable:

  • Open the NIC Asia MOBANK (Mobile Banking App of NIC ASIA Bank),
  • After logging in, go to the Payments section and tap on NIC ASIA Capital,
  • Now tap on NIC ASIA ELIS,
  • Enter your ELIS SIP Number, 16 Digit BOID, Your Name as per DEMAT or in your SIP, installment amount and confirm,
  • Tap to confirm the payment as in other regular processes,
  • That’s all.

With these simple steps, you can easily proceed with NIC ASIA SIP Payment for ELIS. Like this, you can follow the same process for NIC ASIA Dynamic Debt Fund too.

NIC ASIA ELIS SIP number: can be found in your previous payment slip or unit allotment slip sent in your mail or directly at NIC ASIA ELIS portal’s user dashboard.

NICA ASIA SIP Payment Automation

As of now, NIC ASIA ELIS doesn’t allow the e-mante process connected with connectIPS. But if you are a NIC ASIA Bank customer, then here’s the good news for you. Using NIC ASIA MOBANK, you can easily schedule the SIP Payment for both your NIC ASIA ELIS and Dynamic Debt Fund SIP.

  • Open the NIC Asia MOBANK (Mobile Banking App of NIC ASIA Bank),
  • After logging in, go to the Payments section and tap the three-dot (option icon showing on the top left side of your mobile banking screen,
  • Now tap on Saved/Schedule Payments,
  • Search for the Merchant as NIC ASIA ELIS,
  • Now fill out the SIP Number, 16 Digit BOID, Your Name as per DEMAT or in your SIP, installment amount, schedule start date and time and confirm,
  • Enter your transaction PIN or use biometric (if) to proceed with the transaction setup,
  • That’s all.

With this simple process, you can schedule NIC ASIA SIP Payment without having a connectIPS account. Also, this process is totally charge-free; it only deducts if we process using third-party platforms like connectIPS and Khalti by IME.

If you don’t have NIC ASIA Mobile Banking

ConnectIPS is the standard route for non-NIC Asia banks. Match the merchant name carefully. Use eSewa, Khalti, or other wallets only when NIC Asia Capital currently lists them.

To reduce missed months, set automation where available: SIP e-mandate process.
